I've had this really bad for 2 years. It's a post nasal drip that switches from right side of the throat to left side throughout the day. Feels like I'm swallowing a bead of something everything I swallow and no matter how many times I swallow it doesn't go down. I have to hack the mucus up out of my throat over and over again until it settles down. When I eat anything it makes it worse and whenever I eat little bits of food stick in my throat and get inhaled into the vocal chord area(I think) and then I really start having to cough and hack up mucus for hours. Any ideas? Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Seems i was started on wrong antibiotics ended up in emergency where they dipped my urine to be told nothing showed wich to my knowledge is going to happen on a dip after three days of an antibiotic so called my doctor who said ok go back to emergency wait another 18 hours to be seen knowing all they will do is another dip test its dangerous practise
